Cargo Release Application - Terms of Use

This Terms of Use explains your rights and obligations as a user of the Cargo Release Application (“CR App”), which is an application developed by Global Shipping Business Network Limited (“Company” or “GSBN”).

By registering or using the Cargo Release Application, you agree to be bound by this Terms of Use and the GSBN Application and Service Terms and Conditions.

1. Description of Cargo Release Application

   1. Cargo Release Application provides an interface for users to view and download Information shared via GSBN Platform for the sole purpose of releasing cargo.
       

2. The use of Cargo Release Application

   1. You hereby authorize GSBN to collect, store, and process the Information on your behalf solely for the purpose of rendering it on the CR App.

   2. You must ensure that any Information shared with you via the GSBN Platform or Cargo Release Application is used exclusively for the purpose of releasing cargo. You shall not use the Information for any other purpose, nor shall you share, disclose, or distribute the Information to any unauthorized party. You agree to implement adequate technical and organizational measures to safeguard the Information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.

   3. You must ensure only Authorized Users have the right to access the Information and must not sell, commercially exploit, transfer, license or assign rights in any Information.

   4. In case of any discrepancies between this Terms of Use and the GSBN Application and Service Terms and Conditions, the latter shall prevail.
       

3. Definition

   1. ​Authorised Users means a company or an individual who is authorised by you or the company you represent to access and use the CR App.

   2. GSBN Platform ​​​is a blockchain platform provided by GSBN that enables supply chain participants to send and receive Information for the purpose of accelerating the digital transformation of global trade (and includes the provision of applicable APIs and Apps). 

   3. Information takes the meaning as defined in GSBN Application and Service Terms and Conditions.
       

4. Other Language:

   2. In the event of any inconsistency or ambiguity between the Chinese and English versions of this document, the English version shall prevail.
